The Uppercut Wavemaster - making a top product better

You are familiar with our BOB and Wavemaster free-standing range of bags and targets. However, you may not be familiar with some of Century’s other specialist products that allow for more specialised training. One of these is the Uppercut Wavemaster.

Rather than having an even cylindrical bag like our standard Wavemasters, the Uppercut Wavemaster has a shorter, cone-shaped top.

This creates a better angle for developing body or torso shots for Thai Boxing or any style that uses strikes to the torso as one of its main skills.

The base is our standard BOB base, and the bag itself is made from vinyl and high-impact foam. The bag is black on one side and white on the other. The white side also has numbered target areas to develop striking patterns and combinations.

There are seven height adjustments from 117 cm to 173 cm. The entire unit weighs approximately 120 kg when the base is filled with water. This can be increased from approximately 160 kg to 200 kg when dry or wet sand is filled.

One of our customer schools recently brought an Uppercut Wavemaster. They say that it is a very sturdy product that is great for developing various kicks like the roundhouse kick and for working on punching combinations well.

It would also be great for a home training centre or if you run children’s classes because the adjustable height makes it more versatile than our standard Wavemaster.
